Vineyard	In the nose fresh, spicy and a bit savory. Clear, fine nuances of yellow fruit with some smokiness and herbs in the aftertaste.
Harvest	Selective manual harvesting
Vinification	Maceration on the skins for 24 hours with whole bunches. Subsequent spontaneous fermentation and maturation for 15 months in wooden barrels. Bottled unfiltered.
Wood education	Aged for 15 months in used and new 500-liter barrels (Damy). The used barrels (70%) are medium toasted, while the new barrels (30%) are light toasted. The used barrels come from the Vosges mountains, have been used at least three times previously, and have previously matured Grosse Lage wines. The wood for the new barrels comes from the Tronçais forests.
