Liebenberg is one of the most fascinating vineyards in the Wachau; different forms of paragneiss represent the main component of the soil, with occasional presence of amphibolites. This somewhat arid soil stands out for wines full of elegance and subtle minerality.
Harvest	Manual
Vinification	Gentle pressing followed by temperature-controlled fermentation on the fine lees in steel tanks. Subsequently the wine matures for 12 months in granite barrels before bottling.

Taste impression	An elegant wine immediately emerges, fine and complex on the nose, with notes of yellow apple, grapefruit and white pepper. Accessible and lively on the palate, mineral and spicy in the background, enhanced by refined acidity and a long finish that persists.
