Vineyard 60% of the grapes come from Bürgstadt, grown on weathered red sandstone soils. Around 40% of the grapes come from the Glottertal in Baden, where the vines grow on weathered gneiss soils.
Harvest Selective manual harvest in 2012
Vinification The base wine ages for a total of 11 months in a double barrel, of which 6 months on the noble lees. Bottling took place in August 2013. Subsequently, it was refined in the bottle for a period of 94 months at a temperature of 14°C in the BurkhardtSchür cellar.
