Vineyard	This best vineyard in Auen, with southern exposure and at an altitude of 277-300 metres, is owned by the Hees family. The soil is a mixture of stony and sandy clay with shale.
Harvest	Manual and graduated harvest at the end of October and beginning of November
Vinification	Maceration for 6-12 hours followed by slow and delicate pressing of the grapes. Subsequent spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels where it ages for 10 months.
Wood education	A part ages in wooden barrels for a period of 10 months.
Taste impression	Lively wine with lots of citrus notes, combined with light fruit and spice aromas. On the palate it is mineral, dry and powerful, with a long finish.
