Kamptal Reserve DAC Riesling ‘Maximum’ 2021 Hiedler

It takes decades for the vines to grow into mighty, gnarled canes. They are deeply rooted in the bare primary rock soils of the historic terraced vineyards of Kamptal. It is a select selection of these ancient vines that produces the 'Maximum'. Their yields are particularly low and the grapes are wonderfully concentrated. The valuable fruits remain on the vine during the main harvest and are harvested late, when they are golden yellow. Before bottling, the wine matures on the fine lees for at least two full winters. This is how this dense and juicy Riesling is created, with the unmistakable Hiedler signature.
