Blaufränkisch is the traditional red grape variety in the Burgenland region. In the climate of the Pannonian area, blaufränkisch best expresses its qualities, particularly on the southern slopes of the Leithagebirge, thanks to the clay-limestone soils. It impresses with its beautiful berry notes and elegant profile.
